Mini-Truck?
It’s a Japanese Mini Truck, essentially a smaller version of a full size 4x4 pick-up truck. They are approved in the United States for non-highway use (similar to an ATV or UTV). Available years range from the 80’s to the present, with the most common years from the early to late 90’s. Japanese Mini Trucks are made by Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Subaru, Daihatsu (in association with Toyota) and Honda. These Vehicles are extremely reliable and fuel-efficient with average fuel consumption between 35-45 MPG. These characteristics, along with their all-terrain 4x4 capabilities make these trucks an excellent choice for work or play.
Mini-Truck features vary slightly between years and makes and some may find a preference for one brand or another much like Ford or Chevy. That said the overall reliability has proven consistent between all makes. The deciding factor about what truck ultimately works best for you is for you to decide. We encourage test drives on our property and will gladly arrange a demo truck to be delivered for day use on your property free within a 30 mile radius.
Replacement parts are available through us. We get them from our importer who gets them directly from Japan. Maintenance parts such as spark plugs, wires, oil and air filters are available through Napa using cross reference part #’s which we provide.
Japanese Mini Trucks offer an excellent alternative to an ATV or UTV. Mini Trucks are priced lower, are more durable and more comfortable to operate.
