Ownership & Safety FAQ

What are kei vehicles?

Kei vehicles are small Japanese-market trucks and vans built to specific size and engine limits. They were designed for tight streets and light-duty work, with a focus on utility over luxury.

Are kei trucks street legal in Utah?

Registration and road-use rules for kei trucks vary by vehicle, model year, and jurisdiction. Before driving on public roads, check current Utah and local requirements for your specific truck and intended use. We do not make legal representations or guarantee registration or street-legal status.

How do titles and registration work?

Title and registration options depend on the specific vehicle, its import history, and where you live. When possible, we aim to provide clear documentation so you and your local DMV can determine what is allowed.

How does vehicle sourcing work?

Vehicles are sourced case by case based on current availability, condition, and paperwork. The goal is to match buyers with useful, character-rich trucks and vans while being honest about what each one is—and is not.

Are vehicles inspected before sale?

Basic condition checks and documentation reviews are performed, but these are older, imported vehicles. Expect wear, age, and quirks. Pre-purchase inspections and any major repairs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Do you offer shipping?

Shipping can often be arranged through third-party carriers and is always by quote. Timing, routes, and costs depend on the carrier and destination.

How do you handle parts fitment?

Kei vehicles vary by year, model, engine, and chassis. We do our best to help identify likely matches and share what we know, but final fitment and installation decisions are up to the buyer or their mechanic.

Is financing available?

We do not offer in-house financing and do not make any promises about third-party lenders. If you choose to work with a bank or credit union, that relationship is between you and them.
